How will News Stream locate industry information to send to me?
News Stream is a powerful technology engine, robust enough to parse through volumes of online information, searching for industry newsletters, publications & reports that are specific to your company, industry & professional profile. top of page

How will News Stream send me information?
News Stream is proprietary process used by the BusinessWatch Network of online publications. When information is sourced that matches your professional profile, it is delivered to your inbox from the BusinessWatch Network digest for which you have subscribed (i.e. From: TechWatch, ExecWatch, FinanceWatch, HRWatch, MgmtWatch). The subject line will always reference Update. Opening up the email will display businesswatchnetwork.com in the header. top of page

How does BusinessWatch know what marketing information to send to me?
When a business marketer has an offer or marketing information that they would like to send via our Network, we evaluate the communication and its appropriateness based on our proprietary technology. Several years ago our technology group took on a the daunting task of developing systems that can quickly and accurately match marketing information with disparate data from subscribers at businesses who are most likely to have a strong interest in a particular offer. top of page

How will I know that I am receiving an email message from the BusiessWatch Network?
Email newsletters are always delivered to your inbox from the BusinessWatch Network you have subscribed to (i.e. From: TechWatch, ExecWatch, FinanceWatch). The actual email message header (located at the top of the email message upon opening) is always From: businesswatchnetwork.com. In addition, the IP address and domain from which the email newsletters are sent is identical to the IP address and domain from which relevant marketing communications are delivered. Occaisionally, our trusted partners will deliver an approved marketing communication directly to subscribers. In this instance, the communication meets the strict guidlines set forth in our Privacy Policy (make this a link to the Privacy Policy page) and BusinessWatch Network Charter. top of page

How will direct mail communication be handled?
We strongly advise business marketers to clearly identify your BusinessWatch subscription affiliation on any printed material that may be mailed to you. Although we screen every offer and request from each marketer to access the subscribers network, ultimately we rely on each business marketer to "do the right thing" when it comes to delivering their marketing communications via the mail. top of page

What about telemarketing calls?
Business marketers requesting a telemarketing offer to the BusinessWatch subscriber network are perhaps the most highly scrutinized marketing communications. Furthermore, BusinessWatch requires that telemarketing calls placed to subscribers be in compliance with all State and Federal laws. In the event that we do approve a specific request, we strongly advise business marketers to identify your BusinessWatch subscription affiliation as part of every telemarketing call. top of page
