Anne Quito covers design and architecture for Quartz.
She holds a master's degree in visual culture from Georgetown University and an MFA in design criticism from the School of Visual Arts. Her MFA thesis on the nation branding of the world’s newest country, South Sudan, has been recently featured on NPR.
Anne has contributed to numerous publications including Works that Work, AIGA Design Eye, and Core 77. An experienced art director, she is also the founding director of Design Lab, a design practice within an international development organization.
